Robert Bosch Power Tool Elektromos Szerszámgyártó Kft. was founded in Miskolc in November 2001, and today it has become a determining factor not only within the company group, but also in the region, becoming the largest Bosch power tool factory worldwide.
Our main products are:
- Green power tools and gardening tools for home use
- Blue power tools for industrial use
- Batteries for eBike and power tools

Job Description
• Develop and implement global inventory strategies to achieve the right balance between customer service level, product availability, and inventory value.
• Optimize inventory levels and define and continuously review planning parameters, safety stock levels, and replenishment strategies.
• Continuously assess inventory performance and identify and implement opportunities to improve inventory turnover and reduce working capital.
• Manage and optimize inventory structures across regional distribution centers to ensure effective stock deployment.
• Identify and reduce excess and blocked inventory, and initiate measures to prevent their recurrence.
• Continuously monitor inventory risks, define corrective actions, and initiate escalations where required.
• Drive inventory planning across the full product lifecycle, from product launch through phase-out.
• Ensure appropriate inventory ramp-up for new product introductions and controlled inventory depletion during product phase-out.
• Support launch planning by assessing inventory requirements, demand forecasts, and supply readiness.
• Manage and optimize inventory exposure related to predecessor and successor products.
• Minimize residual inventory at the end of the product lifecycle, targeting zero residual inventory wherever feasible.
• Support the S&OP process with inventory insights, risk assessments, and supply recommendations.
• Coordinate inventory-related activities across manufacturing plants, logistics organizations, business units, and distribution centers.
• Align inventory strategies with capacity constraints, demand forecasts, supply strategies, and customer requirements.
• Support global logistics planning to ensure the right inventory is available at the right location and at the right time.
Qualifications
• University degree
• Ideally 3-5 years experience in a similar logistics environment
• Systems knowledge in particular SAP
• Excellent IT skills in MS Office suite and in particular Excel (functions, pivot tables)
• Ability and willingness to travel (up to 10% of working time)
• Able to accept change and to deal with changing priorities and pressured situations
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Be proactive and able to manage own workload with a view to continuous improvement within the wider team
