Job Description
Summary: This is an opportunity for Instructional Designers to build creative and innovative training solutions that meet the needs and learning objectives for a unique and targeted audience in an engaging and educational manner.
Essential Duties:
- Create new and innovative training solutions that include but not limited to written course content, systems documentation and e-learning
- Develop quality training materials based on the ADDIE model of instructional design
- Write course design documents, learning objectives, course content, practice scenarios, activities, and assessments
- Consult with team members, clients, and subject matter experts regarding training needs and identify best business practices
- Maintain source documents
Requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge of instructional design principles, practices, and adult learning theory
- Proven ability to develop a variety of learning tools that include but not limited to instructional storyboards, written course content, systems documentation and e-learning.
- Able to write curriculum based on competencies
- Able to use strong analytical skills and convert information and needs into sequenced, systems-focused, classroom training materials
- Superior writing skills including the ability to write concise, creative, and effective instructional material
