We are offering an exciting Industrial Placement opportunity within our Vehicle Performance Group, giving students the opportunity to contribute to the development of a Formula 1® car at the highest level of motorsport. Working alongside experienced engineers, you will use simulation and data analysis to explore car behaviour, identify performance opportunities and support decisions on car development, race strategy and setup direction. As part of our team, you’ll gain hands-on experience, develop valuable technical skills, and contribute to innovative engineering solutions in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

• Support the preparation, execution and analysis of offline vehicle simulations, including lap time simulations and setup sweeps
• Assist with the development, validation and maintenance of simulation models and post-processing tools
• Analyse simulation outputs to understand the impact of setup choices, car characteristics and operating conditions on performance
• Collaborate with engineers across Technical departments to evaluate proposed car updates and setup changes
• Contribute to pre-event preparation and post-event analysis using simulation data to investigate performance trends and support engineering decisions
• Help correlate simulation results with track data and driver-in-l
