Job Description

The Position

CallRail is looking for a highly analytical and detail oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team. Reporting to the Sr. Director of FP&A you will be responsible for pulling together reports and analysis to support the decision making of the Executive and Leadership teams. Additionally, you will partner closely with various departments, Talent & Culture and Accounting to improve our internal financial processes and help advance the operating objectives of the business. 

The best fit for this position is someone who is detail oriented, analytically minded, an advanced excel user and is an excellent communicator who enjoys collaborating with people across all departments. 

 

What You'll Do 

  • Monitor and analyze budget/forecast variances each month and work with department leadership to help make operating decisions.  
  • Run monthly variance analysis for assigned departments and work with department leaders to ensure all expected expenses are planned in the forecast. 
  • Manage the company’s financial model, building new components to align with current business initiatives, while streamlining reporting and usability of the model.
  • Assist with the preparation of the monthly forecast and annual budget.  Adjust the financial forecast model to reflect expected revenue and expenses as needed.
  • Prepare monthly financial packages, KPIs, and other analyses/reports using systems like Looker, Netsuite, Zuora, and Salesforce.
  • Develop new revenue forecasting capabilities and systems for communicating changes.
  • Collaborate with Talent and Culture on position and headcount tracking/forecasting
  • Provide modeling and analysis to support pricing decisions led by the Product Marketing team.
  • Work on multi-year business cases with leadership, marketing and product management. 
  • Develop and maintain granular analysis of our cost of acquisition through various sales channels. 
  • Continually work to improve internal financial processes to gain efficiency.
  • Monitor business processes and develop tools to track trends and help inform finance leadership.
  • Prepare financials for annual 409a valuation
  • Prepare market analysis reporting with comparisons to similar SaaS companies.

 

What You'll Need

  • Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ Years related experience
  • Strong organization/documentation skills and attention to detail needed to be successful
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial leaders
  • Netsuite, Zuora, Salesforce and Looker experience a plus, but not required
  • Advanced excel skills required (Knowledge of pivot tables, lookup methods, chart creation, and data integrity issues)

*** This position is based out of our Atlanta office. Through December 2026, employees are expected to work in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
