Design Verification Engineer

A design verification engineer working as part of multidisciplinary teams on complex technical projects. The role plans, develops and executes testing programmes on a range of products for our clients. It involves leading testing workstreams and working closely with other workstream leads and project managers. The aim is to ensure the products we develop are tested rigorously in line with product requirements, regulations and industry best practice so that our clients can successfully file and commercialise their products.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Project Delivery and Technical Leadership

• Plan and develop testing programmes, participate in testing, interpret results and follow through on failures and design changes.
• Understand the requirements for a product, identify required standards and regulations and incorporate them into the testing programme.
• Plan and conduct testing in line with CDP processes and the QMS.
• Design and develop test rigs and fixtures as required for the test methods.
• Plan and execute equipment qualification and test method validation activities, using a pragmatic and risk-based approach.
• Apply statistical techniques to testing programmes, primarily to define sample sizes and support test method validation, with complete rationales and justifications.
