Position Details Position Status: Temporary Part Time Term Ends January 01, 2027 Location: Dr. Vernon Fanning Centre, EQuaL 1E BW Hours: 57.35 FTE: 0.74 Shift: Days/Evenings Shift Times:  0700-1515 /1500-2315 Union: AUPE Aux Nursing Rate of Pay: $20.77 - $26.02 PCN: FAN1ENA20   Date Competition closes: September 08, 2026   Position Summary:   Reporting directly to the Director of Care, the Health Care Aide (HCA) is a regulated member of the interprofessional health care team who provides ongoing client care. The HCA observes, monitors and reports on client status/condition including changes in physical and emotional status. The HCA ensures that changes in client status are reported to the Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).   This position delivers prescribed medications accurately as per policy and procedure. This role requires a strong foundation in trauma-informed care and experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses, responsive behaviors, and neurological conditions such as brain injury, spinal cord injury, and multiple sclerosis (MS).
