Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead the engineering and design of greenfield and brownfield substations, including equipment layout, bus configurations, grounding, lightning protection, and control building arrangements.
  • Oversee development of key design documents such as:
  1. One line and three line diagrams
  2. General arrangement drawings
  3. Equipment specifications and bills of material
  4. Grounding and lightning protection studies
  5. Conduct, cable, and raceway plans
  • Protection & control schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Coordinate with civil, structural, transmission, and protection teams to ensure integrated designs.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables for accuracy and project standard compliance.
  • Support project planning and scheduling.
  • Provide technical guidance during engineering development.
  • Identify project risks and work with project managers and discipline leads to development mitigation strategies.
