Talent Partner - US Recruiter (Philippines)
Talent Partner - US Recruiter
About the Job
Be the recruiter US and Canadian accounting talent remembers. As a Talent Partner - US Recruiter at Cloud Accountant Staffing (CAS), you’ll run the full recruiting desk for North American candidates: finding them, screening them, guiding them through client interviews, and getting them ready for Day 1. You’ll be the first real conversation many candidates have with CAS, so your communication, judgment, and follow-through set the tone for every placement.
This role is based in the Philippines and works US business hours.
Note: This is a full-time role. Exclusive commitment is required, so no part-time or freelance work once hired.
About the Role
You’ll own the candidate side of the recruiting cycle for US- and Canada-based roles, from first outreach through pre-onboarding. That means sourcing, screening, managing pipelines in Ashby, coordinating client interviews, supporting offers, and handing every hire to the Admin team ready to start.
This position does not manage an ongoing staffer portfolio. Your focus is pure recruiting: a strong, fast-moving pipeline and a polished candidate experience that turns into successful placements.
What You’ll Do
Sourcing
Source qualified US and Canadian accounting and finance candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and talent communities.
Build and nurture talent pools for recurring client needs, such as staff accountants, senior accountants, tax preparers, and bookkeepers.
Write and post job ads and outreach messages that appeal to North American candidates.
Screening & Recruitment
Conduct phone and video pre-screens to assess technical skills, experience, work authorization, and culture fit.
Coordinate skills assessments and review results before submitting candidates.
Present shortlists with clear, concise candidate summaries.
Prepare candidates for client interviews and debrief them afterward.
Pipeline Management & Admin
Manage every candidate in Ashby, including stages, notes, scorecards, and timely status updates.
Keep response times tight and communication professional at every stage.
Schedule interviews across US and Canadian time zones.
Track and report on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and submittal-to-interview ratios.
Offers & Pre-Onboarding
Support the offer process: present offers, answer questions, and help close candidates.
Collect pre-onboarding requirements and documents, and coordinate any background checks.
Hand off each hire to the Admin team with complete, accurate information.
Keep candidates engaged and informed between offer acceptance and Day 1 to prevent drop-off.
What You’ll Bring
2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience, from sourcing through offer.
Excellent spoken and written English. You’ll speak with North American candidates and clients daily, so clear, confident, natural communication is essential.
Hands-on sourcing skills on LinkedIn and job boards, including Boolean search.
Strong organization and time management, with the ability to run multiple requisitions at once.
A proactive, ownership-driven approach and comfort in a fast-paced remote setup.
Willingness to work US Eastern Time, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (night shift in the Philippines).
A reliable home office setup with stable internet, backup power or connectivity, and a quiet workspace.
Nice-to-have
US or Canada market recruiting experience, especially for accounting, finance, or professional services roles.
Familiarity with US accounting credentials and terms (CPA, EA, GAAP, tax season) and US work-authorization basics.
Experience with an ATS, ideally Ashby, and tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
An agency or staffing-firm background with placement targets.
The Ideal Candidate
Sounds polished and credible on a call with a US candidate within the first minute.
Moves fast without cutting corners, and knows when to dig deeper.
Explains processes simply and keeps candidates informed without being chased.
Treats every candidate like a future placement and every pipeline like a deadline.
Always looks for ways to improve outreach, conversion, and the candidate experience.
Perks
Fully remote, work-from-home setup.
Direct exposure to the US and Canadian accounting market and modern staffing practices.
A collaborative global team that values ownership and process improvement.
Contract Status & Exclusivity
Full-time independent contractor based in the Philippines. Exclusive commitment is required, so no part-time or freelance engagements after hire. Conflict-of-interest checks may apply.
