Job Description

You know how to build more than just a schedule. You build teams, solve problems, and keep projects moving when everyone else is looking for answers.

We're looking for an experienced Senior Superintendent to lead large commercial construction projects from excavation through turnover. You'll lead site operations, coordinate trades, manage schedules, monitor budgets, and ensure every project is delivered safely and successfully.

What You'll Do

• Lead all site activities from mobilization through turnover
• Manage labour, trades, materials, equipment, and site logistics
• Drive schedule performance and identify issues before they become delays
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, and project costs
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, and contract requirements
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
• Coach and develop field teams, apprentices, and future leaders

• The team knows the plan and understands their commitments
• Milestones stay aligned with the schedule
• Trade partners and self-perform teams are working effectively

Qualifications

What You Bring

• Journeyperson trade certification or equivalent construction experience
• 10+ years of commercial/institutional construction experience with a large general contractor
• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a large general contractor
• Experience delivering complex commercial construction projects from excavation through turnover
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site operations
• Advanced leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Forecasting experience
• CSTS 20

Nice to have

• Gold Seal Certification
• Technical diploma in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field
• Experience using Navisworks, Assemble, Revizto, or similar BIM tools

The base salary range for this role is listed above and may vary based on your experience. This position also includes a competitive bonus program. Throughout the interview process, we’ll discuss your background to determine the best alignment for your experience level.
