Solution Architect- .NET (microservices)

We're looking for a hands-on .NET Solution Architect to lead the design and evolution of our distributed platform: more than 100 microservices built mainly on .NET Core and PostgreSQL. You'll set the architecture direction, make the key technical calls, and work closely with engineering, DevOps, QA and frontend teams to keep the platform fast, reliable and easy to change. You'll still write code, build prototypes and dig into production issues yourself.

Responsibilities:

• Own the target architecture for our .NET Core microservices platform, including service boundaries, communication patterns, data ownership and how services evolve over time.
• Make and document key design decisions (architecture decision records, design docs) and lead architecture reviews across teams.
• Design service-to-service communication using REST, gRPC and asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), with resilience built in: timeouts, retries, circuit breakers and bulkheads.
• Set the data strategy for PostgreSQL and supporting stores (Redis, MongoDB, TimescaleDB), including schema design, indexing, connection handling and scaling.
