Job Overview:
As an Entry Level Automotive Service Advisor/Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the trusted professional our guests rely on for assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building lasting relationships, as you are the face they see every time they invest in their vehicle.
Entry Level Service Advisors guide our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
Ideal candidates will have a passion for continuous growth, drive to get the job done right, and a personality that is upbeat.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
- Check guests in and out
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Providing safe shuttle service for our valued guests in our branded vehicle
- Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
- Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
- Keep the facility clean and organized
- Assist other team members as needed with clerical tasks such as accounts receivable and filing paperwork
- Direct, coordinate, and participate in performing guest service activities as dictated by workload
- Serve as a community ambassador for the store through creating authentic relationships and partnerships
- Present the best solution to properly repair our guest vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand
- Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times
- Communicate on the phone in a clear professional manner
- Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself and our customer
- Directs, coordinates, and participates in performing customer service activities
- Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Valid state driver's license
- Experience in Retail, Hospitality, Automotive Customer Service or Sales Preferred
- Experience as an Automotive Service Write/Advisor/Sales a plus but not required
- Meet required insurance driving record parameters
- Enjoy a fast-paced environment and a Team mentality (we work hard but like to have fun doing it)!
- Ability to seek and accept coaching and direction
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Physical Requirements:
- Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm
- Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
