Civitech is a public benefit corporation dedicated to creating a fairer and more equitable democracy by building the tools and infrastructure needed to increase civic participation, empower Democratic candidates to win, and support the success of progressive causes. Since its founding in 2019, over 1400 partners—a range of nonprofit organizations, national political committees, and individual campaigns—have utilized Civitech’s tools to reach tens of millions of voters to help create a more equitable and progressive democracy.   RunningMate is Civitech's newest product, focused on transforming how progressive campaigns compete and win. The General Manager role leads RunningMate as its own business unit — owning revenue growth as the single top priority, with the budget, people, and decision rights to drive it. The GM's primary job is understanding the space's complex market structure and charting a course through it to drive business success and impactful growth. They'll spend much of their time as RunningMate's primary ambassador to the market, and their first deliverable is building RunningMate's 2027 strategy and plan.
