Junior Backend Engineer (Python) - Remote

BrownRiceCapital is hiring a Junior Python Developer to build and maintain Python features, solve technical problems, and use AI tools in day-to-day development. This is a remote role.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a backend engineer with python as primary language.

• Strong Python programming skills, with hands-on experience working with Python at a product-based organisation.

• Familiarity with AI tools and their practical use in software development.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of Node.js is a plus.

• Trading domain knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features using Python.

• Identify, debug, and resolve issues in the code.

• Use AI tools to support development, while reviewing and testing their output.

• Write clear, maintainable code and verify that it works as expected.
