Facilities Management Associate (f/m/d)

We are looking for a Facilities Management Associate (f/m/d) in part-time (30h/week) to support our facilities operations in Estenfeld.

What You'll Be Doing

• Responding to requests for repairs

• Fulfilling minor repair and maintenance requests (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, lighting, doors/windows, furniture, moving/storage, pest control and fire suppression)

• Ensure compliance with all applicable maintenance, inspection, and regulatory testing requirements for buildings, building systems, and safety-related installations, including the coordination and management of external contractors where required

• Responsible for ensuring compliant waste disposal and recycling management, including the selection, engagement, and management of external service providers

• Maintaining records and documentation of maintenance activities, inspections, regulatory testing, certifications, and corrective actions

• Serving as a liaison with building management to maintain building appearance and upkeep

• Initiating PO requests for building related maintenance

• Monitoring and approval of deliveries and services provided by contracted subcontractors (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, lighting, doors/windows, furniture, moving/storage, pest control and fire suppression)

• Coordinating maintenance of external grounds, parking areas, and seasonal services where applicable

• Primary point of contact for building management

• Primary point of contact for building security calls

• Coordinating and scheduling maintenance with various vendors related to supporting the assigned facility

• Periodically assessing building and parking areas for any potential safety concerns

• Investigating safety concerns and accident reports related to facilities

• Maintaining a safe work environment for both self and others

• Serving as a fire marshal and safety officer for the assigned office

• Issuing and monitoring office security/access cards as needed

• Coordinating with various other local departments and employees to ensure the facility is operating safely and efficiently

• Maintaining Quality Service and Departmental Standards by Reading, understanding and adhering to organizational Standard Operating Procedures and assisting in establishing and enforcing departmental standards

What We Look For

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in a skilled trade preferred

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with vendor interaction

• Experience with hardware tools

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems

• Prior facilities or building maintenance experience
