Community Lead
About the Role
This is a hands-on Community Lead role reporting directly to the General Manager at an early-stage ambient AI consumer startup. You'll own the community end-to-end, building the full funnel from new user to evangelist and creating a real feedback loop into the product roadmap. There's no pre-built playbook, and your work will have direct influence on the direction of the product.
What You'll Do
Build and nurture an active community across Discord, X, Reddit, and other platforms where users naturally gather.
Design and test concrete mechanics, such as recognition systems, referral programs, and early access tiers, that convert power users into active advocates.
Mobilize the community at critical moments including product launches, user research initiatives, and marketing pushes.
Gather rich feedback from community conversations and translate it into actionable product signal for the team.
Coordinate in-person events and experiences that deepen community bonds.
Work across time zones with R&D, hardware, and supply-chain teams to ensure community insights flow into the roadmap.
