Forward Deployed Engineer
About the Role
Join a small, high-caliber founding team at an early-stage AI company focused on private-market operations. You will own technical delivery end to end, translating customer workflows into production AI-driven solutions and sharing what you learn with the product team.
What You'll Do
Manage technical delivery across the project lifecycle, from customer discovery through production launch.
Work directly with customer teams to understand their workflows and identify barriers to adoption.
Translate operational processes into AI-driven workflows using the company's platform.
Build customer-specific prototypes, iterate quickly, and adjust scope based on feedback.
Bring deployment insights into product planning and develop reusable approaches for recurring needs.
What We're Looking For
Approximately 1 to 6 years of relevant experience shipping production software.
Strong TypeScript and Node.js skills, including experience with NestJS, Postgres, Prisma, and React.
Experience working directly with customers to scope, prototype, and iterate on technical solutions, such as in forward-deployed or solutions engineering roles.
Ability to own delivery end to end, from customer discovery to production.
Empathy for private-market operations workflows; experience in private markets or financial operations is beneficial.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: €70,000 to €110,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
On-site in Berlin, Germany. The role requires working closely in person with the founding team from the Berlin office.
