Principal Product Manager, AI Platform
About the Role
Join a small, hands-on product team at a marketing services company focused on building an AI-driven operating platform. You will identify complex operational problems and shape practical solutions that can be developed into reliable systems for users across different service lines and industries.
What You'll Do
Find important operational problems, define solutions, and prototype them with AI tools.
Work closely with engineers to turn prototypes into reliable, scalable production systems.
Define measurable indicators for complex operational issues and develop AI-driven ways to address them.
Build a decision engine that supports varied user needs and replaces reliance on generic vendor reporting.
Develop product approaches for closed-loop attribution that connect client actions to business outcomes.
Balance shared platform capabilities with the needs of different service lines and industries.
Engage directly with users and data to understand workflows and improve operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Two to eleven years of relevant experience, including hands-on product building or product management experience.
Experience using AI coding tools and real-world data to build functional prototypes and validate ideas.
Ability to design AI systems for real-world failure modes, edge cases, and production reliability.
Strong systems thinking, including judgment about downstream effects, blast radius, and when to generalize solutions.
Experience defining measurable operational problems, validating solutions with data, and demonstrating impact.
Experience working with engineering teams to productionize prototypes and deliver reliable systems.
Clear, concise written communication, comfort with ambiguity, and a habit of simplifying or eliminating unnecessary workflow steps.
Experience with operational technology solutions is valuable; background in decision engines, reporting, or attribution systems is also relevant.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $160,000 to $230,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
