Senior Fullstack Engineer
About the Role
This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a small, high-impact engineering team building an AI-native financial planning and analysis platform for modern finance teams. You will work closely with technical leadership and cross-functional teammates to design and deliver product features that directly shape the direction of the product.
What You'll Do
Partner with leadership and teammates to prioritize and execute on the product roadmap.
Design, develop, and own complex features and software components end to end.
Deliver robust, scalable, and well-tested code across the full stack.
Help establish engineering best practices that lay the foundation for a high-performing team and culture.
Collaborate with Design and Operations teams to continuously improve the product.
What We're Looking For
At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture.
Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript, Node.js on the backend, and React on the frontend.
Background as a balanced fullstack engineer or a strongly frontend-focused engineer (backend-only profiles are not a fit).
Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Experience using MongoDB as an application database.
Experience with BigQuery for analytics and querying large datasets.
Familiarity with automated testing, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong collaboration skills with senior technical leadership and cross-functional teams.
Ability to work remotely from the Americas and collaborate effectively in a distributed environment.
A clearly differentiated engineering record, showing outsized impact rather than a merely solid senior profile.
Interest in AI-focused product engineering is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $150,000 to $220,000 USD annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
Fully remote, open to candidates based in Canada or the United States.
