Senior Platform Software Engineer
About the Role
Join the platform engineering team at a seed-stage software company building referral and partner growth tools for businesses. You will own core cloud infrastructure, deployment systems, and reliability, helping the team deliver product changes safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
Architect, deploy, and operate AWS infrastructure across compute, messaging, storage, networking, and observability.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that support automated deployments from commit to production.
Manage production PostgreSQL, including configuration, performance tuning, migrations, and backup strategies.
Make pragmatic tradeoffs between delivery speed and foundational system quality.
Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to shape architecture and technical direction.
Explore AI-assisted development tools and incorporate them into build and deployment workflows where useful.
Investigate complex distributed systems issues and deliver reliable solutions.
