Job Description

About the Role

You'll join a fast-growing fintech engineering team as a Software Engineer, building and scaling end-to-end production systems for a complex B2B product. This is a full-stack role spanning thoughtful, performant UIs all the way through complex data modeling and large-scale integrations, with real ownership from day one.

What You'll Do

  • Build and scale end-to-end production systems for a complex B2B product.

  • Own features from conception through launch and iteration.

  • Work directly with stakeholders to understand problems and drive solutions.

  • Build shared abstractions and experiences that make complex products intuitive.

  • Raise the engineering bar through excellent code, thoughtful reviews, and clear communication.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years building end-to-end production systems for B2B products, with experience owning features from conception through launch.

  • Strong full-stack fundamentals: able to trace requests from UI to data store and make sound technical decisions at every layer.

  • Proficiency with TypeScript and React for frontend development.

  • Proficiency with Node.js and Python for backend development.

  • Experience with relational databases (Postgres) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

  • Experience with GCP for cloud infrastructure and deployment.

  • Experience building data pipelines, ETL processes, or large-scale data systems.

  • Background as a founder, engineering lead, or startup builder with high agency and a builder's mindset.

  • Familiarity with BigQuery, GitHub Actions CI/CD, and observability tools such as Datadog is a plus.

  • Experience in FP&A, finance technology, or data integration domains is a bonus.

  • Pragmatic approach: choosing the fewest and simplest tools that will actually work.

  • Clear, direct communication across both technical and non-technical audiences.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $75,000 to $265,000 USD annually.

  • Flexible hours and unlimited PTO.

  • Health insurance (US and Canadian employees).

  • 401(k) plan (US employees).

  • Provided laptop (MacBook Pro or Lenovo).

  • Regular in-person team retreats.

  • Visa sponsorship: Not available.

Location

Fully remote, open to candidates based in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
