Software Engineer, Foundation
About the Role
Join the foundation team at a Series B education technology company, helping build the mobile app, AI and agent infrastructure, developer experience, and backend services. Your work will support product teams and contribute to tools used by learners.
What You'll Do
Own core areas of the Flutter app, including shared components, design systems, state management, performance, and tooling.
Build and improve AI infrastructure such as MCP servers, background agent platforms, evaluation systems, and feedback loops.
Improve developer experience through CI/CD, release tooling, and faster feedback between writing code and seeing it in production.
Ship user-facing features alongside platform work.
Keep shared systems reliable so engineering teams can build on them confidently.
What We're Looking For
Two to four years of production experience building mobile or web applications. Flutter and Dart experience is welcome but not required.
Professional backend engineering experience and familiarity with building and operating production software.
