About the role

We are looking for a Building Design Associate with 4–6 years of relevant experience to join our team onsite in Jakarta, Indonesia. In this role, you will contribute to the design and development of building projects, taking ownership of assigned design tasks across interior and architectural disciplines from concept through schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.

 

What you’ll do

• Develop test fits, space plans, and schematic design layouts.
• Develop interior design schemes, material palettes, and finish selections.
• Develop architectural and interior technical details for interior and exterior components.
• Research local codes and standards and incorporate compliance requirements into design development.
• Coordinate architectural and interior layouts with MEP/FP and structural engineering strategies.
• Perform QA/QC reviews of internal drawing packages for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Coordinate with consultants, resolve design discrepancies, and review milestone deliverables.

 

What we’re looking for

• 4–6 years of relevant professional experience in architectural or interior design, preferably in hospitality, F&B, renovation, or adaptive reuse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience across multiple project phases, from concept design through construction documentation.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong space-planning skills and the ability to develop functional, well-coordinated design solutions.
• Strong architectural representation, drafting, technical detailing, and design coordination skills.
