Position Overview
A nationally recognized litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its General Liability and Product Liability practice in its Los Angeles or Irvine office.
This opportunity is ideal for a California-licensed attorney with at least 3 years of defense litigation experience who is comfortable independently managing cases, taking depositions, handling discovery and motion practice, and supporting matters through trial.
The attorney will work on sophisticated matters for both regional and national clients throughout California and will have the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a defense litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Represent regional and national clients throughout California
- Handle general liability and product liability matters
- Conduct plaintiff, fact witness, and expert depositions
- Prepare clients and witnesses for depositions and trial
- Draft and respond to written discovery
- Review and analyze complex discovery request
