Key services provided to developers in this service line include site assessment and due diligence, planning approvals and engineering design through to completion of construction.
Job Description
As a Consultant, you will contribute to the delivery of waste management projects from concept through to completion, preparing practical and commercially viable solutions for a range of residential, mixed-use and commercial developments. Working alongside experienced team members, you will build your technical expertise, manage project deliverables and develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
Preparing waste management strategies, technical reports and supporting documentation for a range of development projects.
Assessing development proposals against relevant waste management standards, guidelines and requirements.
Developing practical waste management solutions for residential, mixed-use and commercial developments.
Managing allocated project tasks and deliverables to meet agreed timeframes, budgets and quality standards.
Liaising with clients, architects, planners, developers and approval authorities to coordinate project requirements.
Supporting the preparation of scopes of work, fee proposals and project documentation.
Working closely with senior consultants to deliver quality project outcomes and develop your technical knowledge.
Building and maintaining positive client relationships while identifying opportunities to contribute to ongoing project work.
Contributing to a collaborative team environment and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
Qualifications
Experience in waste management consulting or a related field.
A sound understanding of residential and commercial waste management practices.
An understanding of development approval processes and relevant industry standards and guidelines.
Strong report writing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Good project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
The ability to work independently on allocated tasks while collaborating effectively with a wider team.
A practical, solutions-focused approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
A willingness to continue developing your technical expertise and take on increasing responsibility as you grow within the team.
