TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT MANAGER   Main responsibilities: The Training & Development Manager is responsible for: Coordinating and facilitating training and development programs to enhance crew skills and knowledge. Identifying training needs, organizing training sessions, and monitoring crew performance and career development; Engaging learners with effective questions, storytelling and other dynamic facilitation techniques; Using personal experiences to make content relevant to learners. Creating a learner-focused environment when sharing information; Providing participants with feedback and coaching as they practice skills and behaviours; Conducting courses as per company requirements; Managing, communicating, and coordinating all aspects of shipboard learning programs, including attendance tracking, maintenance of training facilities, and monitoring of training material inventory; Maintaining training records in the appropriate systems; Maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times; Supporting the Management Team with any additional training needs; Adapting work schedule in order to accommodate operational demands and constraints.  Creating training schedules that take into consideration, crew work schedules, places, crew and operational needs first.
