Service Engineer
Having close contact with Confocal NL’s customer base, the Service Engineer is the face of the company for existing customers. As a Service Engineer, you share knowledge and build trust with customers, helping users get the most out of their Confocal NL imaging systems.
The goal of the Service Engineer is to provide successful first-time installations at customer sites and fast, constructive service to customers (including internal users) experiencing issues with an imaging system or needing advice on tailoring the system configuration to their particular applications. The Service Engineer reports directly to the Operations Manager but works closely with the Commerce and Development teams.
The tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Preparing for Confocal NL imaging system installations.
Installing and assisting in the installation of Confocal NL and partners’ products that form a Confocal NL imaging system, including hardware and software installations of Confocal NL products, microscopes, lasers, cameras, etc.
Leading a collaborative project on extracellular vesicle (EV) analysis, with tasks including algorithm development to extract measured fluorescence intensity data and evaluating and optimizing perform
