AI Native, QA Engineer

We’re a small QA team that keeps quality high across daily production deployments. Each engineer works directly with developers and product owners to agree on requirements early, and owns their work from start to finish.

We use AI throughout our work. Everyone helps build and improve our automated test agents, our end-to-end test suite and our release agent, and we build new tools to make testing and releases faster and more reliable.

The QA Engineer responsibilities include:

• Own quality for your area: Work as an active member of a cross-functional team, focusing your testing on the parts of the product where failures would hurt ConsumerAffairs and its customers most.
• Review requirements early: Read tickets and designs before development starts, and flag ambiguity, missing acceptance criteria and untested edge cases.
• Direct and oversee AI test agents: Set up, run and maintain AI-driven test agents. Review their results critically, and confirm that the tests they produce are reliable and cover the right risks.
• Do exploratory testing: Go beyond scripted tests to find issues that automation and AI miss, including unexpected user behavior.
• Investigate and report defects: Find whether a failure comes from the application, the test, the data, the environment or an integration. Log clear, reproducible bug reports with evidence and impact, and work with developers until each one is resolved.
