Job Description

Business Partnering & Management Support

• Act as financial business partner for LivTec Segment Management, Vertical Heads & its sales organization
• Support management decisions through fact-based financial analysis and commercial consulting
• Actively challenge business assumptions and propose improvement measures to enhance profitability and sustainable growth

Sales Strategy & Planning

• Provide controlling expertise in the LivTec strategy process, including contribution to sales strategy development
• Support long-term planning activities (e.g. LTSP) with robust financial modeling and scenario analysis planning activities (e.g. LTSP) with robust financial modeling and scenario analysis‑term planning activities (e.g. LTSP) with robust financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Translate strategic targets into actionable sales and financial KPIs

Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Steering

• Own and drive performance steering cadence (weekly/monthly) including KPI tree, countermeasures and follow-up tracking (PDCA)
• Use PVM reporting transparency (price-volume-mix drivers) to steer and challenge execution with relevant stakeholders
• Lead profitability improvement program tracking (measures, impact, owners, timing)
• Take ownership for content, correctness, and timing of the LivTec budget process
• Ensure high-quality sales forecasting, including volume, price, mix, and margin development
• Analyze deviations and proactively identify risks and opportunities

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare management-oriented business insights & decision papers based on standard reporting outputs for Segment and Regional Management‑oriented reports and analyses for Segment and Regional Management
• Monitor and analyze sales, contribution margins, customer and product profitability and derive actions/steering implications
• Drive business requirements for performance transparency & ensure steering adoption across regions/industries

Global Controlling Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with controlling peers within the Business Area (BA) and across regions
• Ensure alignment with corporate and BU controlling standards and processes
• Define and prioritize business requirements for improvements (tools/process/data)

Qualifications

Qualifications

• University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or comparable
• Several years of experience in Sales Controlling / Business Controlling, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Experience working in a global, matrix organization is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a clear business mindset
• Ability to translate complex financial data into management relevant insights
• Confident communication and stakeholder management across hierarchical levels
• Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented working style‑oriented working style
• Advanced MS Excel skills; experience with SAP and BI tools is a plus
• Fluent in English & German
