Job Description

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

About the Role:

Crusoe is building the infrastructure that powers the AI revolution. As our global footprint expands across data centers, power generation, manufacturing, construction sites, and corporate offices, understanding the people, places, organizations, and events that could impact our operations is increasingly critical.

We are seeking a Senior Physical Security Intelligence Analyst to join our Global Physical Security team. This role will provide intelligence and investigative support across Crusoe's global operations, combining open-source intelligence (OSINT), investigative research, threat assessment, and data analysis to identify and assess risks before they impact our people or operations.

This is the first dedicated intelligence hire in Crusoe's Physical Security organization. You will not inherit a mature intelligence program; you will stand one up alongside the GSOC Manager and in close partnership with Protective Operations. You will shape the collection framework, source library, platform configuration, and product cadence from the ground up during a period of rapid company growth and new site activation.

The ideal candidate brings experience from the intelligence community, military intelligence, federal law enforcement, corporate intelligence, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment and can translate complex information into concise, actionable security intelligence.

What You'll Be Working On:

Intelligence Production and Threat Monitoring

  • Monitor and assess threats involving people, places, organizations, events, and emerging issues relevant to Crusoe personnel and operations.

  • Produce concise intelligence products including threat assessments, investigative reports, intelligence briefs, profiles, timelines, link analysis, and executive-level summaries.

  • Monitor geopolitical, criminal, activist, extremist, infrastructure, and community-level developments that could affect Crusoe facilities or personnel.

  • Identify connections, patterns, relationships, and behavioral indicators across disparate information sources.

  • Maintain investigative and intelligence records within approved case-management systems and establish clear sourcing and confidence levels.

OSINT and Investigative Research

  • Conduct in-depth OSINT research across publicly available information, social media, databases, corporate records, and other authorized sources.

  • Develop comprehensive profiles and assessments of persons, organizations, locations, and issues of security interest using lawful and authorized sources.

  • Support investigations involving threats, suspicious activity, workplace violence concerns, insider risk indicators, fraud, theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other security incidents.

  • Distinguish verified information from assumptions and clearly communicate analytical confidence and information gaps.

Threat and Behavioral Assessment

  • Conduct threat assessments related to individuals or groups demonstrating concerning interest in Crusoe, its employees, executives, facilities, or operations.

  • Apply structured behavioral threat assessment methodologies to workplace violence, targeted violence, and insider risk indicators.

  • Partner with HR, Employee Relations, Legal, and Protective Operations on threat cases requiring coordinated response.

Protective Intelligence and Executive Travel Support

  • Provide intelligence support for executive protection, including protective intelligence, travel assessments, event intelligence, and advance planning.

  • Produce destination threat assessments, travel advisories, and principal-specific intelligence packages.

  • Partner with Protective Operations to translate intelligence into protective actions, movement planning, and principal protection decisions.

Site and Build Intelligence

  • Conduct location and site intelligence assessments supporting new facilities, acquisitions, construction projects, executive travel, and expansion into new markets.

  • Produce pre-construction and pre-activation intelligence packages for new builds, informing site security design, local law enforcement engagement, and risk mitigation.

  • Track threats to critical infrastructure, including risks affecting data centers, electrical infrastructure, energy generation, utilities, telecommunications, and supporting supply chains.

Incident and Crisis Support

  • Support major incident and crisis response by rapidly collecting, validating, analyzing, and communicating relevant intelligence.

  • Provide intelligence support during significant incidents, developing assessments for Physical Security leadership and business stakeholders under time pressure.

  • Partner with the GSOC to feed real-time intelligence into operational decision-making during active incidents.

Partnership and Program Building

  • Partner closely with the GSOC, Protective Operations, Security Operations, GRC, Legal, People, Employee Relations, IT/Security, and Workplace Teams.

  • Own the deployment of Ontic as Crusoe's intelligence and case management platform from a tradecraft perspective, designing collection workflows, building entity and watchlist structures, operationalizing OSINT and signals ingestion, and defining how intelligence products flow to the GSOC, Protective Operations, investigations, and leadership.

  • Build and maintain relationships with government, law enforcement, intelligence, and private-sector security partners, including organizations such as the FBI, DHS, CISA, OSAC, DSAC, InfraGard, and relevant state and local agencies.

  • Develop intelligence requirements and collection plans based on emerging risks and business priorities.

  • Help establish scalable standards, procedures, and governance for Crusoe's physical security intelligence and investigative capabilities.

  • Identify opportunities to use automation, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to improve threat detection, intelligence collection, triage, correlation, and reporting.

What You'll Bring to the Team:

  • 5+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, investigations, protective intelligence, threat assessment, military intelligence, law enforcement intelligence, or a related field.

  • Experience within the U.S. Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, federal law enforcement, or a sophisticated corporate intelligence/security organization strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to conduct complex research and synthesize large volumes of fragmented information.

  • Strong OSINT and investigative research capabilities, including source validation and assessment of information reliability.

  • Experience analyzing individuals, organizations, networks, locations, events, and patterns of activity.

  • Familiarity with threat assessment, protective intelligence, workplace violence prevention, insider risk, or behavioral threat assessment.

  • Ability to distinguish verified information from assumptions and clearly communicate analytical confidence and information gaps.

  • Excellent analytical writing skills with the ability to turn complex research into concise, actionable intelligence for security leaders and executives.

  • Strong judgment and discretion when handling sensitive investigations and personal information.

  • Understanding of privacy, civil liberties, data protection, and appropriate intelligence collection practices in a corporate environment.

  • Ability to operate independently in ambiguous, rapidly evolving situations.

Bonus Points

  • Previous experience with NSA, FBI, DHS, DoD, military intelligence, another Intelligence Community organization, or an equivalent investigative/intelligence environment.

  • Hands-on experience with Ontic; platform deployment, workflow design, entity management, watchlist configuration, or administrator-level fluency.

  • Experience supporting executive protection or protective intelligence programs.

  • Experience conducting link analysis, social-network analysis, geospatial analysis, or pattern-of-life research.

  • Experience with commercial intelligence and alerting platforms such as Dataminr, LifeRaft, AlertMedia, Silobreaker, Flashpoint, Everbridge, Crisis24, or similar tools.

  • Familiarity with physical security systems and data, including access control, video surveillance, visitor management, alarm monitoring, and incident-management platforms.

  • Experience supporting global operations, critical infrastructure, technology companies, data centers, energy, or other high-growth environments.

  • Familiarity with intelligence requirements, collection management, structured analytic techniques, and intelligence lifecycle methodologies.

  • Experience working with government and private-sector information-sharing organizations such as OSAC, DSAC, InfraGard, or regional fusion centers

  • Relevant certifications or formal intelligence-analysis, investigative, or threat-assessment training (ATAP, ASIS CPP/PSP, intelligence community training programs, or peer credentials).

  • Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, Criminal Justice, International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or a related discipline; equivalent professional or government experience will also be considered.

  • A foundation for the intelligence function to grow with Crusoe as the company scales.

Operating Conditions:

  • Dallas, TX on-site, with occasional travel to Crusoe sites across North America for pre-activation intelligence work, site threat assessments, and partnership development.

  • Primarily business hours Monday–Friday with on-call rotation for critical incidents, executive travel windows, and high-impact geopolitical or weather events.

  • Occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as the operational tempo demands.

  • Handling of sensitive, confidential, and executive-protection information with appropriate discretion is a core expectation of the role.
