Position Summary
CSN Collision New Hamburg is currently seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring structural integrity, functionality, and high-quality finish. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced shop environment.
Primary Objectives of the Auto Body (Collision Repair) Technician:
- Review repair orders and damage estimates to determine required work and plan the repair process
- Conduct a thorough inspection of vehicle damage, including all exterior body components and functional systems (locks, windows, mirrors, dashboard warning lights)
- Identify any additional or previously missed damage not noted in the initial estimate or QA documentation
- Perform structural and full body repairs, including repairing or replacing front-end components, panels, doors, frames, and underbody
