Job Description
Job Overview
The Senior Collision Estimator will handle the full estimating process from start to finish. This includes writing accurate estimates, coordinating with insurance companies, and ensuring repairs are performed according to OEM and industry standards — all while delivering a top-notch customer experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on estimating experience, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspections and complete accurate damage assessments.
- Write comprehensive and precise estimates using CCCOne estimating software along with Mitchell estimating.
- Review estimates with customers, explaining repair needs and answering questions clearly.
- Communicate and negotiate directly with insurance adjusters to obtain approvals and supplements.
- Work closely with production, parts, and repair teams to ensure smooth repair workflow.
- Follow up with customers throughout the repair process to provide updates and ensure satisfaction.
- Perform final inspections to verify quality, accuracy, and completion of all repairs.
- Maintain organized documentation of all estimates, supplements, and insurance correspondence.
- Support the front office with customer service needs as required.
