Project Manager / Estimator

About the Role

We're looking for a detail-driven Project Manager / Estimator to support field operations and preconstruction on commercial, industrial, multi-tenant residential, and mission-critical projects. You'll manage awarded projects, partnering closely with foremen, superintendents, and general contractor / owner teams. You'll also perform material and labor takeoffs, solicit vendor quotes, and build competitive estimates.

What You'll Do

Project Management (~75%)

• Support project managers with submittals, RFIs, change events, procurement, and look-ahead schedules.
• Track costs, labor hours, and productivity (budget vs. actual); maintain buyout and PO logs.
• Coordinate material deliveries, prefab requests, rentals, and tool needs with the field.
• Assist with meeting minutes, action items, and closeout (O&Ms, as-builts, training).
• Promote safety and code compliance; support site walks and punch lists with field foremen.

Estimating & Preconstruction (~25%)

• Perform electrical takeoffs (power, lighting, systems, gear, feeders, branch, devices) using labor units consistent with NECA standards.
• Build estimates in Accubid / Trimble (or similar), apply NECA labor unit productivity factors, and assemble alternates / VE options.
