Job Description
Dark Wolf is seeking Data Privacy Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join a collaborative team to develop, manage, and maintain the privacy and data compliance posture of information systems. The successful candidate will focus on Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), PII governance, and policy development aligned with customer needs. You will support your team and customer through compliance planning, agreement execution, and privacy risk management, ensuring high standards of data protection and regulatory compliance. This position will be based out of the Washington DC/Northern VA metro area with hybrid schedule opportunity. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Leading the development, management, and maintenance of comprehensive privacy and data compliance postures for federal information systems, with a primary focus on DoD environments.
- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) for federal systems, navigating distinct government PIA templates, adjudication processes, and System of Records Notices (SORN) coordination.
- Serving customer facing capacity, collaborating with program managers, Information System Security Managers/Officers (ISSMs/ISSOs), and system engineers to characterize data flows, identify PII types, and define system boundaries.
- Navigating and managing DoD/D
