Description

A Data Engineer designs, builds, and manages the infrastructure and systems that enable the efficient storage, processing, and retrieval of large-scale data. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for processing and transforming large datasets.
  • Build and manage data architectures, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through effective data governance practices.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, flat files, and streaming data platforms.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver data solutions that meet their needs.
  • Optimize and enhance data workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Implement data security and privacy measures in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline issues, ensuring system reliability and minimal downtime.
  • Work with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy and manage data solutions.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for data workflows, systems, and processes.
