About the role
An exciting opportunity has opened up in Commercial Team / Davy Private Clients. In the role, the successful candidate will:
Reporting & Performance Analysis
- Produce and maintain regular management reports and dashboards.
- Monitor and analyse key business metrics, trends and performance indicators.
- Identify opportunities, risks and emerging trends through data analysis.
- Support the delivery of business performance reporting to management and key stakeholders.
- Develop reporting solutions that improve visibility, consistency and decision-making.
Business Analysis & Decision Support
- Conduct forecasting, trend analysis and scenario modelling to support business planning.
- Analyse business performance and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Assist management in evaluating business opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and planning activities through analytical input.
- Translate data into meaningful management information and business intelligence.
Performance Management Support
- Support the production and ongoing development of performance scorecards and reporting frameworks.
- Assist in tracking performance against agreed objectives and key metrics.
- Provide analytical support to managers and business stakeholders.
- Ensure performance data is accurate, timely and actionable.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of performance measurement processes.
Data Management & Governance
- Support data quality improvement initiatives across business systems and processes.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity, consistency and governance standards.
- Identify data issues and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting and data management processes.
- Support business readiness activities associated with system and technology initiatives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong working relationships across business functions.
- Act as a key liaison between operational teams and support functions in relation to reporting and analysis requirements.
- Gather and document business requirements for reporting and analytical needs.
- Present findings, insights and recommendations in a clear and concise manner.
- Support projects and initiatives that require analytical expertise and business insight.
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
Essential
- Third-level qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Information Systems or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in a Business Analyst, Sales Operations Analyst, Reporting Analyst or similar analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Experience producing management information, performance reporting and business insights.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with stakeholders across different business areas.
Desirable
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Experience using business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau or similar).
- Experience supporting forecasting, planning or budgeting activities.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality management practices.
- Experience working within financial services or a regulated industry.
- Relevant professional qualifications or industry certifications would be an advantage.
