Project Engineer - Commissioning and Integration Engineer

Daystar Power Group is seeking to engage a highly competent and experienced Project Engineer to serve as the Commissioning and Integration Engineer within the Project Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commissioning, configuration, programming, testing, integration, optimization and technical support of control and monitoring systems deployed across Solar PV, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), diesel/gas generator and hybrid power projects.

The role will serve as a technical specialist for SCADA, Power Plant Controller (PPC), Energy Management System (EMS), industrial communication networks, plant controllers, inverter controls, BESS interfaces and system integration.

The engineer will support the design and development of system operational philosophy, control sequences, equipment staging logic, protection/interlocking philosophy and energy management strategies and translate these requirements into practical EMS/PPC/SCADA functionality.

The engineer will work across the complete commissioning lifecycle, from review of control philosophy and communication architecture through hardware configuration, software setup, functional testing, system integration, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), performance optimization and final handover.

A key responsibility will be ensuring that individual equipment and subsystems operate as one coordinated power plant, particularly where PV, BESS, generators, g
