Job Description

Definium Therapeutics is a late-stage clinical biopharmaceutical company and our mission is to forge a new era of psychiatry by applying scientific rigor to psychedelics, with the goal of developing accessible treatments that unlock healing at scale.

Our lead product candidate, lysergide tartrate (our proprietary orally disintegrating tablet form of lysergide (LSD) D-tartrate), represents a highly differentiated, potential best-in-class opportunity for patients suffering from generalized anxiety, major depressive disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder. Our early stage pipeline includes DT402, the R-enantiomer of MDMA and is under development to target the core symptoms of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), specifically addressing social communication challenges.

Guided by the recognition that patients deserve more than better, Definium is relentlessly advancing a new generation of therapeutics intended to address the underlying causes of psychiatric and neurological disorders. By turning evidence into impact, Definium aims to change the trajectory of today’s mental health care crisis and enable a healthier future. Headquartered in New York, Definium Therapeutics trades on Nasdaq under the symbol DFTX.

Together we are moving psychiatry forward—beyond better, into a boundless future. Join us!

  • Create measurement frameworks to assess knowledge retention, behavioral change, and business impact; use data and field feedback to continuously refine programs
  • Support sales leadership in coaching frameworks, performance management, and the development of sales managers as trainers and coaches.
  • Drive a culture of excellence, curiosity, and patient-centricity across the commercial organization
  • Contribute to broader commercial readiness planning and serve as a key voice on field capability needs

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, life sciences, education, or related) preferred
  • Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry within the commercial function, including but not limited to; sales training, sales excellence, and or commercial capability development
  • Experience in leading successful sales training initiatives, product launch initiatives, leadership development, curriculum design and training evaluation
  • Proven track record building or scaling training functions in specialty, CNS, psychiatry, or complex therapeutic areas required; experience with novel modalities, launch products, or highly regulated spaces is highly valued
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and modern training delivery methods (live, virtual, e-learning, simulations, role-play, etc.)
  • Experience in managing consultants and vendor relationships to ensure effective design and implementation of training solutions
  • Strong scientific acumen and ability to translate complex clinical data into compelling, compliant field narratives
  • Experience collaborating across Commercial, Medical, Access, and Compliance functions in a matrixed biotech or pharmaceutical environment
  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and stakeholder-management skills; ability to influence senior leaders and inspire field teams
  • Demonstrated success recruiting, developing, and leading high-performing teams
  • High integrity, intellectual curiosity, and a genuine passion for advancing mental health care
  • Comfortable with frequent travel and a hybrid delivery model that includes regular time in the Philadelphia office
