Job Description
As a Software Engineer, you will be actively involved in the development of our solutions in collaboration with designers, product owners and other engineers, as well as stakeholders in the business. You have a curious mind, in the age of AI simply writing code doesn’t just do it for you. You want to understand how and why code works and why some solutions are used within a specific context. You have an eye for detail and take a proactive approach when creating new features and/or solutions. Your expertise is valued within all steps of the process from idea to product.
In addition to creating, you also value growth and learning for yourself and your colleagues. We invite you to learn from us and have us learn things from you. This can be about a niche subject you’re captivated by or the newest version of a front-end framework.
Beyond that, we value ownership and eminence. We don’t expect you to understand and/or master everything when you join, but we expect you to continuously learn and grow in this matter. Your basics are strong and from there, you’re open to exploring more advanced and complex patterns. AI serves as your accelerator, not as your substitution. Among all the points mentioned above, we have some indicators whether you could be suited for this role:
You have a foundational knowledge of a language like C#, Java, Python or similar and have worked with this in a production environment for a few years.
In addition, you’ve embedded frameworks or plugins using package managers and are familiar with the ecosystems that surround the mentioned languages above.
Collaboration is key, which means that you are suited to work with Git and can share your work on GitHub or a similar environment. This also means you’re able to explain your code in writing and speech.
You are a curious, creative, and social person. We don’t expect you to immediately stand in front of all of us to present, but you are communicative by nature, are okay to challenge people on their ideas and not afraid to receive constructive feedback.
Our core business is innovation, so keeping up with trends and/or taking an active role in learning new things is expected.
Qualifications
We have a dynamic way of working, which means not all our solutions work with the same stack. One day you’re building the newest prototype we’d like to develop for our Audit department, the next day one of our battle-tested solutions requires its monthly software update. Your mental context window allows you to do both in the same week, in addition to this expectation, we are looking for someone that identifies with the following profile:
Has a few years of experience with developing production-grade software using C#, Java, Python or TypeScript and is well-versed in architectures that are usually occurring in those languages.
Previously has worked with technology that enables those products, think of AWS, GCP or Azure
Experience packaging and running applications in containers, using Docker and an orchestrator such as Kubernetes.
Have collaborated with other developers via Git, using a platform like GitHub or Azure DevOps
Able to communicate about their work, both the outcome and process, estimations and possible issues

Team Tomorrow is a team of ~90 employees with a very wide array of skills. We’re innovating how Deloitte works by optimizing internal processes, implementing novel technical solutions, and generally elevating how our colleague’s work. As a Software Engineer, you’re part of our group of Builders. We are responsible for delivering technical solutions, developing rapid prototype(s) and serving as experts for our colleagues that are not involved in the technical part of these solutions.
