Job Description

The impact you’ll make: 

As a Business Support Administrator you will be responsible for a broad range of administration tasks, including, but not limited to:

  • Maintenance of data in our internal customer relationship management and accounting systems, which includes Jupiter (Salesforce), SWIFT and Taxlab.
  • Following best practice processes to ensure the seamless onboarding of staff and clients, their set up in our systems and ongoing maintenance.
  • Administration of our Tax Agency including its maintenance and liaising with Inland Revenue on behalf of the teams where appropriate. 
  • Dealing proactively with correspondence and enquiries and responding as appropriate.
  • Administration of our Xero practice.
  • NZ Companies Office and Annual Return administration using CAS360.
  • Provision of back up administrative support firmwide where required.

Qualifications

Your expertise: 

Bring your professional, personable character and administrative experience and see what impact you can make.  With requests coming in from multiple channels the ability to prioritise and communicate the status of tasks is essential.  You will be able to complete routine tasks with appropriate guidance, use judgement to address straightforward issues and seek support when needed. High attention to detail and accuracy, aptitude and a proactive get-it-done attitude is a must in this role. 

You’ll also have: 

  • 1+ years experience in an administrative role with a professional yet personable character – ideally in a corporate/professional services environment.
  • Exceptional organisation skills with acute attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and be able to react proactively and positively to change.
  • The understanding to exercise confidentiality, discretion and personal sensitivity in all aspects of the role.
  • A willingness and aptitude to learn new systems and processes.
  • IT proficiency and be comfortable with new technology using CoPilot and other approved AI tools.
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The role provides scope to build your administration capability, gain exposure to specialist systems and take on broader responsibilities while providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external people.
