Build your career at DeSilva Gates Construction, where you’ll be part of a team delivering major infrastructure projects across Northern California.  We are seeking a strategic Estimator to join our Dublin team- a detail-oriented professional who thrives on precision, collaboration and delivering impactful results.  The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise with a deep understanding of public or private works construction.  Success in this role requires the ability to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates while collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.  This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes, support bid strategies and contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.  

Responsibilities 

Estimating & Cost Analysis

• Review specifications, drawings, and project site conditions to develop accurate estimates.
• Analyze and build estimate data related to labor, materials, equipment, location and other cost factors.
• Apply mathematical calculations to ensure accuracy of estimated costs.
• Utilize historical cost data as a benchmarking tool.
• Review quantity take-offs to verify accuracy of estimate inputs.
