Senior Software Engineer (Golang)

Job summary

The DigiCert ONE CA team is looking for a knowledgeable Senior Software Engineer to join our agile cross functional team to build the future of PKI and security management.

What you will do

• Build RESTful, highly scalable cloud native webservices using Go
• Collaborate with the team in the design, development, testing, and deployment of high-quality code
• Engage with other engineering leaders to implement industry best practices
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug product defects and provide timely solutions to customer needs
• Develop a deep understanding of PKI products, architecture, and systems

What you will have

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience developing applications in Go (Golang)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent years of experience in the industry
• Required experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience designing and developing RESTful web service APIs
• Strong knowledge of the following:
  • Software engineering best-practices in design, testing, and architecture
  • Service-based architectures and distributed systems
  • Relational databases, including indexes, and SQL best practices
  • Design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/DevOps
• Flexibility to attend meetings outside of standard working hours when required to support collaboration across multiple time zones and global teams 
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
