Legal Manager - Litigation & Dispute Resolution

Divar is looking for a Legal Manager to lead litigation and dispute resolution across the country. Operating a platform used by millions of people creates legal challenges that cannot always be addressed through conventional litigation practices. This role will manage Divar’s nationwide disputes, oversee external counsel, protect the company in judicial and regulatory proceedings, and develop new legal approaches to prevent organized fraud and misuse of the platform. The successful candidate will work without relying on a large internal litigation team. They will be expected to take ownership, bring together external lawyers and cross-functional teams, and build practical mechanisms from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Own Divar’s portfolio of civil and criminal litigation, from early case assessment and strategy development to hearings, appeals, settlements, and closure.
• Content Policy Design: Develop content governance frameworks that reduce downstream legal risk and clarify liability boundaries.
• Select, instruct, and oversee external counsel across different jurisdictions, ensuring consistent legal positions, high-quality work, timely delivery, and effective cost management.
• Develop scalable processes for case intake, assignment, evidence collection, progress tracking, reporting, and performance evaluation.
