We are looking for a Service Desk Level 1 professional to join our IT team and provide efficient, user-focused first-line support across the organization.
You will play an important role in user and licence management, IT equipment and inventory control, and ticket coordination. You will be a key point of contact for employees and will work closely with the wider IT team to ensure incidents and requests are handled efficiently. Implement a project communications approach that keeps all stakeholders informed and overcomes objection and resistance
- Assign tickets to the appropriate IT teams and monitor progress through to resolution.
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, access, and connectivity issues.
- Create, modify, and disable user accounts as part of onboarding, internal moves, and offboarding.
- Manage user access and software licence allocation in line with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records of laptops, desktops, monitors, mobile devices, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Coordinate the allocation, return, repair, replacement, and retirement of IT assets.
- Maintain accurate IT inventory and asset records and support regular audits.
- Follow up on outstanding tickets and ensure agreed SLAs are met.
- Provide IT support during designated global events held in Spain at specific times throughout the year.
- Coordinate with local and global IT teams to support event operations and promptly resolve technical issues.
Requisitos
- Previous experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk, or IT Support role.
- Good knowledge of Windows and common business applications.
- Experience with ticketing/ITSM systems.
- Experience with user and account administration.
- Experience managing IT equipment, assets, or inventory.
- Good understanding of software licences and access management.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under deadlines.
- Ability to influence different departments to suggest, implement and track more efficient processes
- Confident and flexible in the way you think, making decisions efficiently and handling change to ensure everything we do is right for our partners and the DO & CO family
