About Us

This is a unique opportunity to build and lead world-class Product Intelligence capabilities, combining Voice of Customer, advanced analytics and product validation to influence product decisions across Dyson. Your work will help ensure customer outcomes remain visible, measurable and central to decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

About the Team

The Global Product Intelligence team serves as Dyson's independent voice of Product Satisfaction, helping to ensure products deliver the customer outcomes they are designed to achieve.

As Quality Manager, you will lead Dyson's global Product Intelligence capability, transforming customer feedback, validation evidence, product performance data and market intelligence into actionable recommendations that influence product decisions and drive continuous improvement.

You will establish and evolve world-class Product Satisfaction Voice of Customer (VoC), analytics, reporting and product validation capabilities, ensuring customer outcomes are measured, understood and visible throughout the organisation.

Working to support the Discovery & Delivery Product Satisfaction Insight teams you will provide the intelligence they need to support the project portfolio.

About the Role

Product Intelligence & Strategy

  • Define and deliver Dyson's global Product Intelligence strategy.
  • Establish frameworks, metrics and governance for measuring customer outcomes and product satisfaction.
  • Embed customer and product intelligence into product and business decision-making.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Partner with Business Intelligence teams to develop best-in-class reporting, dashboards and product performance intelligence.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation and AI-enabled tools to strengthen evidence generation and decision support.
  • Ensure customer and product intelligence is accessible, meaningful and actionable for stakeholders.

Voice of Customer

  • Lead the global Voice of Customer for Product ecosystem, integrating feedback, research, reviews, and validation findings.
  • Identify customer needs, emerging trends, satisfaction drivers and pain points.
  • Translate customer feedback and evidence into clear, actionable recommendations that improve product performance and customer outcomes.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Monitor market trends, competitor performance and evolving customer expectations.
  • Establish benchmarking approaches to assess Dyson's performance against competitors.
  • Support future product strategies, targets and customer outcome objectives.

Leadership & Capability Development

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing global Product Intelligence team.
  • Build capability in customer research, validation, analytics and evidence-based decision making.
  • Foster a culture of objectivity, curiosity and evidence-based decision making.

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Build strong relationships across Quality, Engineering, Research, Design, Commercial and Business Intelligence teams.
  • Influence senior stakeholders through compelling customer evidence and data-driven recommendations.

Product Validation

  • Lead a team to deliver global validation user trial activities to assess whether products successfully deliver intended customer outcomes.
  • Define and continuously improve validation standards, methodologies and best practices.
  • Ensure objective evidence informs product development decisions and drives improvement actions.

About You

You are a customer-focused leader with a passion for understanding what drives exceptional product experiences. You combine analytical rigour with strategic thinking and have a proven ability to transform customer and product data into meaningful business outcomes.

You are comfortable working across complex global organisations, building strong relationships and influencing senior stakeholders. You have experience balancing long-term strategy with operational delivery and are motivated by creating products that delight customers and outperform competitors.

You bring a collaborative, curious and objective approach, using evidence and data-driven analysis to challenge assumptions, identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Champions the voice of the customer at all levels, using evidence and customer intelligence to influence decisions, particularly when customer needs differ from existing expectations or priorities.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Significant experience in Product Intelligence, Customer Intelligence, Voice of Customer, Data Analytics, Quality or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience developing and implementing customer intelligence, product performance, analytics or quality strategies within a global organisation.
  • Strong understanding of Voice of Customer methodologies, customer feedback ecosystems, customer outcome measurement and evidence generation.
  • Experience leveraging multiple data sources to assess product performance, identify trends and generate actionable business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical capability, with experience interpreting large, complex datasets and translating findings into clear recommendations for product, customer and business improvement.
  • Experience developing reporting frameworks, executive dashboards, KPIs and performance metrics that drive decision-making and accountability.
  • Proven ability to distil complex information into compelling narratives, reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Experience influencing strategic decisions through data, evidence and fact-based recommendations.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams, fostering analytical capability and a data-driven culture.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
