Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm EDT Monday - Friday + occasional out of school time responsibilities, including graduate school coursework

The East Harlem Teaching Residency is a 15-month program that prepares aspiring teachers through rigorous coursework in Childhood Education at Hunter College School of Education and a 15-month paid residency as a resident teacher at East Harlem Scholars Academies with extensive support and training grounded in antiracist teaching practices. Residents will complete the program with a Master’s degree in Childhood Education Grades 1-6 and initial New York State teaching certification.
