Direct Care Worker - Open Availability / Fill-In

Eminence Home Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Workers (DCWs) with Open Availability to join our team. This position is ideal for caregivers who are flexible and available to assist with fill-in shifts when coverage is needed.

As an Open Availability DCW, you will provide personalized care and support to clients in their homes while helping ensure consistent and quality care. Responsibilities may include assisting with daily living activities, providing companionship, and helping clients maintain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Assist with meal preparation and other daily living activities.
• Provide medication reminders and document care as required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Monitor and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Follow the client’s care plan and company policies.
• Accept and work fill-in shifts based on your availability.
• Maintain flexible availability for same-day or short-notice coverage when possible.
• Work professionally with clients, families, and the Eminence Home Care team.
