Job Description

The Position
We're hiring EMTs and Paramedics based out of the Lincoln area (our surrounding areas) to float between our two Nebraska operations. Omaha and Aurora are each about an hour from Lincoln, so you can build a full-time schedule, or pick up part-time shifts around another job, without relocating. Working both sites gives you 911 and interfacility experience at every acuity level, which few services can offer in one job.

Our Nebraska Operations

• Aurora, NE: 911 and IFT. Aurora runs 911 emergency response along with interfacility transports. Expect scene calls of all kinds, rural response, and transfers from the local hospital to higher levels of care. This is a good place to sharpen your field assessment and independent decision-making.
• Omaha, NE: IFT. Omaha is a busy interfacility operation with a healthy mix of ALS, BLS, and SCT/CCT transports. You'll move patients between hospitals, specialty centers, and care facilities across the metro and region. That includes higher-acuity critical care work alongside experienced crews.

Schedule Options

• Full-time: 48 hours in Aurora, 24 or 12 hours in Omaha, or a mix of both to reach full-time hours.
• Part-time: flexible shifts at either location, depending on your availability.

Qualifications

Requirements

• Current Nebraska EMT or Paramedic license, or eligibility to obtain one.
• Current CPR/BLS certification. Paramedics also need current ACLS and PALS.
• Valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to be insured on company vehicles.
• Reliable transportation to Omaha and Aurora.
• Ability to lift and move patients and equipment, and to work in all weather conditions.
