About the role and what you'll be doing: 

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Vice President, North America Base Sales to lead a multi-tiered sales organization responsible for driving strategic growth, client satisfaction, and long-term client retention across our North America existing client portfolio. In this leadership role, you will own senior executive client relationships, define and execute the North America base growth strategy, provide strategic direction and mentorship to sales leaders, and ensure Ensono delivers consistent, world-class outcomes that strengthen lifetime client value across a large, complex client base.

You will maintain accountability for accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management, ensuring visibility and predictability across the North America region to support strategic planning and resource allocation. You will serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, leveraging Ensono's full portfolio and partner ecosystem to address evolving business and technology needs. Your objective is to make our clients successful and committed to Ensono for life through durable, value-based relationships.

As a strategic thinker and self-starter, you will operate with agility in a dynamic market, combining proven leadership experience with innovative approaches to drive expansion, renewals, and client advocacy. As a senior leader within the Ensono Sales organization, you will ensure disciplined execution across the full lifecycle of client engagement, while building strong partnerships with internal stakeholders across delivery, operations, and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the North America base sales strategy for the region, aligned with Ensono's overall growth objectives and client lifecycle model.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-level sales organization, establishing clear performance standards, fostering a high-performance culture, and holding teams accountable to aggressive revenue and retention targets.
  • Coach sales leaders in strategic account planning, pipeline development, and execution methodology to drive consistent, scalable results across teams.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage accurate sales forecasting and pipeline visibility across the North America region, ensuring predictable revenue projections and timely executive reporting to support strategic planning, resource allocation, and organizational accountability.
  • Own executive-level client relationships, providing thought leadership and strategic consultation on aligning client business outcomes with Ensono and partner solutions.
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with C-level executives, senior business leaders, and IT decision-makers within existing client accounts.
  • Drive revenue growth through renewals, expansions, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities across Ensono's end-to-end portfolio.
  • Lead proposal development, negotiations, pricing strategy, and commercial terms for complex, multi-line deals.
  • Work collaboratively with solution architects, delivery leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders to ensure client success and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance, renewal trends, and market dynamics; incorporate insights into account planning, forecasting, and investment decisions.
  • Establish and maintain accurate sales forecasts; provide regular visibility into pipeline health, win/loss analysis, and key performance metrics.
  • Represent the sales organization in regional and enterprise-wide strategic planning; advocate for market and client needs.
  • Build scalable operating models, talent pipelines, and succession plans for the North America base sales organization.
  • Actively recruit, onboard, and retain top sales talent; develop high-potential team members for advancement within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • Executive-level sales leadership experience, including responsibility for leading large, multi-tiered, high-performing sales organizations.
  • Demonstrated success managing teams across multiple management layers; proven ability to lead leaders.
  • Demonstrated success leading consultative, solution-based sales in technology and managed services environments.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue, retention, and growth targets at scale.
  • Significant experience managing, forecasting, and optimizing large, complex sales and renewal pipelines.
  • Extensive experience structuring and closing complex, multi-year, multi-solution client engagements.
  • Proven success managing enterprise clients with multiple lines of business and complex stakeholder models.
  • Ability to influence and align cross-functional teams without direct line authority.
  • Deep experience with managed services, hosting, mainframe, security, outsourcing, and hybrid IT environments.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to engage, advise, and influence C-level client stakeholders.
  • Ability to articulate technology and service value propositions from a business and outcomes-oriented perspective.
  • Highly organized, analytical, creative, and adaptable in fast-changing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and leadership capabilities.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree is a plus

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this role is $230,000 to $275,000 annually based on a full-time schedule. Please note that placement in the range may vary based on numerous factors including but not limited to skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. In addition to base salary, other compensation programs, depending on eligibility, include a role-based, sales-incentive plan, and an equity grant under our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
