Job Description

The role

We're hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own two things: shipping new features to the market, and building our PLG activation flow. A launch is only worth something if customers actually adopt what we ship, and this person is responsible for making sure they do.

Title: Senior Product Marketing Manager, Growth
Location: Remote, United States
Compensation: $180K-$220K base, plus equity and benefits
Reports to: Jeff Chase, Director of Product Marketing and Brand
Works closest with: Product, design, PLG/growth, customer success, sales

About Enterpret

Enterpret is the customer context layer for product teams. We bring all of a company's customer feedback into one place, structure it with an adaptive taxonomy, and give that context to the people and agents deciding what to fix next. Product teams at fast-growing AI-native companies like Canva, ElevenLabs, Notion, Superhuman, and Zapier use Enterpret to catch what's breaking and prove it's real before they ship the fix.

Why this role, why now

We ship new product every week, and we're opening Enterpret up to self-serve signups. Neither matters if people don't use what we build. Right now launches get announced, and then nobody owns what happens next. Does a new user get to value in their first session? Does an existing account pick up the new feature? Did the launch move adoption at all? This person owns those answers.

What you'll own

Shipping new features to market

You'll take over our weekly product launches. We release something new every week, and not every release is a big moment, but the cadence doesn't stop. You'll own the launch calendar with product, decide how much each release gets, and make sure every one goes out on time and reaches the people it was built for.

  • Plan launches with product managers ahead of time, including positioning, audience, launch tier, and timing
  • Write the launch story and the assets behind it: in-product announcements, release notes, announcement posts, demo scripts, and social copy
  • Get sales and customer success ready before launch day with talk tracks, demo flows, objection handling, and a clear answer to "who should I tell about this?"
  • Drive adoption after launch with targeted email and in-app campaigns to the accounts most likely to use the feature
  • Measure launches on adoption and pipeline, not impressions, and bring what you learn into the next one

Building our PLG activation flow

You won't own demand gen. Your job starts once someone signs up: making sure new PLG users get real value out of the product and keep coming back.

  • Define what an activated account looks like and the moments that predict it
  • Build the onboarding journey across email and in-app, including welcome sequences, checklists, tooltips, empty states, and nudges based on what users do or don't do
  • Create product enablement that gets people to value fast, like setup guides, short walkthrough videos, templates, and example workflows
  • Work with product and design on the onboarding experience itself, and bring user evidence to decisions about what new users see first
  • Own activation and adoption metrics, run experiments against them, and report what's working every week
  • Flag accounts that are ready for a sales conversation and hand them off with context

What success looks like

By day 30, you've gone through Enterpret the way a new customer would, mapped where self-serve users drop off, and shipped your first launch. You can explain our product, our buyer, and how we launch without notes.

By day 90, a working activation flow is live across email and in-app, with a clear definition of an activated account and a baseline to measure against. Every launch ships with enablement and an adoption campaign, and sales and CS know what's coming before it goes out.

By day 180, activation has measurably improved against that baseline, and you can show which launches moved feature adoption and which didn't. The launch and activation playbooks run on their own instead of getting rebuilt every time.

Who you are

What you bring

  • You've done product marketing for AI products at B2B software companies, and your portfolio shows it
  • You really know how to use AI tools. You use Claude and tools like it every day, and you've built yourself a second brain with them (projects, custom instructions, skills, a knowledge base your AI works from) that makes you faster and more efficient. It's how you do the job: analyzing activation data, prototyping onboarding flows, drafting and testing lifecycle copy at volume, and turning launch inputs into finished assets fast. You can also explain how an AI feature works, where it falls short, and why a buyer should trust it
  • You've built a PLG activation or onboarding program and can point to the metric it moved
  • You've owned launches from planning through post-launch adoption at a weekly or near-weekly pace, and you know how to keep a cadence going without the work getting stale
  • You're hands-on with lifecycle and in-app tools like Customer.io, HubSpot, Braze, Appcues, Pendo, or Chameleon. You build the campaign yourself instead of writing a brief for someone else
  • You're comfortable in product analytics tools like PostHog, Amplitude, or Mixpanel. You can define a funnel, read a cohort, and set up an experiment without waiting on anyone
  • You write clearly and concisely, and you can turn a dense product spec into something a busy PM reads in 30 seconds

How you work

  • You're creative and a problem solver. You don't approach challenges with answers. You approach them with questions to get to what you actually need to know
  • You understand customers and genuinely care about their success, not just the business's success
  • You have a clear track record of working well cross-functionally, and you know how to build and manage strong relationships with product, design, sales, and customer success

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to product managers, product engineers, or developers at AI-native companies
  • Experience at an early-stage company where product marketing was a team of one or two
  • You can make product videos yourself, like demos, walkthroughs, and short explainers
  • Familiarity with customer feedback, product analytics, or developer tools

Your portfolio

A portfolio is required, and it should show real work in both parts of this role. It can be a slide deck, a video, a website, or anything else you think best shows your work. Show us at least one product launch you ran, including the plan, the assets, the enablement, and what happened to adoption afterward. Then show us at least one activation or onboarding program you built, with before-and-after numbers. Lifecycle email flows, in-app onboarding screenshots, and launch briefs all count. If the work is confidential, redact it and walk us through it. We care more about how you think than whose logo is on it.

Benefits and Perks:

  • Autonomy and Ownership: Influence and shape the future of an early-stage startup.
  • Competitive Compensation: Highly competitive salary and early-stage startup equity.
  • Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement Plan: Comprehensive benefits package, including a 401(k).
  • Time Off: Generous vacation policy to help you recharge.
  • Parental Leave: Maternity and paternity leave to support your growing family.
