Sanctions and Financial Crime Intelligence Manager

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Sanctions and Financial Crime Intelligence Manager for one of our partners, a leading Digital Bank!

THE ROLE

One prohibited relationship, one missed match, and the bank is exposed in a way that's very hard to walk back. You own the framework that prevents that: the screening, the watch lists, the escalation calls on a potential match, and the team that runs it day to day. It's exacting work, and it has to be, because sanctions risk doesn't give second chances.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Manage the Sanctions team, including work allocation, performance management, and staff development
• Maintain the Sanctions & TFS Framework in line with applicable regulatory requirements
• Oversee sanctions screening and related controls across relevant customers, transactions, and other applicable parties
• Oversee the management and maintenance of applicable sanctions and watch lists, ensuring timely implementation of relevant updates
• Oversee the effectiveness and performance of sanctions screening systems and related controls
• Oversee the assessment and escalation of potential sanctions matches and related cases
• Monitor sanctions risk exposure and the effectiveness of sanctions controls
